The music video is compelling, the lyrics are filled with emotion, the guitars, bass and drums are all on point. In The End was the first song I heard from Black Veil Brides and since then I have become a pretty big fan. This song is about, when you die, who is left to remember the moments you had, and what have you done that would make you someone of substance? Have you done what you wanted to do with your life? " But people telling the story of your life after you've lived it, those are the people who create that afterlife you have and continue this legacy. If there was a place that is Heaven, that's wonderful. If nothing else, Heaven is a legacy that you leave with the people around you. "I hope I'm wrong, and I hope he is in the clouds, but on a personal level, I was thinking of the importance this person had to all these people at the church. I started to think about what heaven is." Andy is Atheist. During the funeral people were talking about how my grandfather would go into Heaven, and how wonderful a person he was.
Every day after school, I would go to his house and talk. This was written after the death of Andy's grandfather.
